Welcome you all to my personal information website. The name is Chief Sanjay Jain. I was born and raised in India. I got my education done at the Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. I have worked in many reputed organizations in India – Cera Sanitary wares, the leading manufacturers of Ceramic Tiles and sanitary wares, and Century Rayons- a flagship company of Birla Group, one of the biggest business groups in India. I’ve been in Nigeria for the last 30 years. I have also worked in Textiles, Trading houses, Plastic conglomerates, Telecoms and Steel industries in the top positions.
Chief Sanjay Jain is the President of the Indian Cultural Association(ICA) in Nigeria. Indian Cultural Association is an Apex Body of Indians in Nigeria that is involved in Charitable projects for the needy Nigerians and also undertaking some cultural activities for the community on the occasions of some Indian festivals. In its last 50 years of history, it has been headed by the industry captains and star luminaries of the Indian community.
Meanwhile, Chief Sanjay Jain has been bestowed upon them :
⦁ ‘Chieftaincy’ and ‘Asiwaju’ (Meaning in English is – Leader of the community) title – a very rare for a foreigner to get in a foreign land like Nigeria.
⦁ He was conferred upon with the HIND RATNA award in the year 2008 by then central ministers – Arjun Singh and Subodh Kant Sahay.
⦁ Recently, the association, where he is the President, has received the highest award – Pravasi Bhartiya Samman Award. Due to covid situations, the same was handed over by the High Commissioner of India to Nigeria which otherwise is given by the President – Sh. Ramnath Kovind.
⦁ In the recent past, he has been awarded – The Most Outstanding Personality of the Year Award in Lagos, Nigeria.
Apart from the above, he is being awarded and recognized for his social services several times by various dignitaries in Nigeria including the High Commissioner of India as well as various Nigerian organizations and entities.
Such as the Indian Cultural Association, the Apex body of Indians in Nigeria, as its President. Have been associated with it for the last 25 years. Also a PATRON of it, Chairperson of Indian Chartered Accountants Forum (ICAF) in Lagos, Nigeria, Rajasthani Samaj of Lagos, Nigeria as its Vice President, Chairman JITO – Nigeria Chapter, Charter member of Rotary Club of Lagos Palmgrove Estate, Member of the Board of Trustees of Indian Language School, the only school for Indians in Nigeria, Indian Professional’s Forum as its Life member, A senior member of Hindu Mandir Foundation trust, Member Nigerian Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and so on.
